While we are on the topic of skateboarding events, We’d like to point you back to a bit of news on an event that was sponsored by Etnies. Surface 2 Air landed in the Skate/News section of Etnies web a while back. Rather than read the article, it got skimmed and dismissed as some art thing that a skater must have been involved in like This Is Me 2002. Wrong! Surface 2 Air seems to have no skateboarding relevance at all. What gives? With all the contests going to shit these days it’s no wonder why people were seemingly bored at this years Tampa Pro contest. Where’s the mayhem?
