John Walsh Can’t Hang
Ever wonder why people don’t ride a skateboard? They end up being cops, security guards or cop television show hosts. Or… They may just become the people that try to kick us out of parking lots. It’s because they choose not to ever get back on a skateboard after they bust their ass! We hear it’s all caught on tape too. Beautiful.

We’ve been hating on CCS and other “mail order only” type conglomerates for a while now. Today we are glad to see that SoleTech has stepped up and taken the initiative in the fight against poor business practices within the Skateboard indu$try. Thank You SoleTech… Who’s next?

Mountain Dew
“The Mountain Dew National Championships are the second stop of the Vans Triple Crown of Skateboarding and a qualifying competition for the Xbox World Championships of Skateboarding in Oceanside, CA September 25 - 28. The top ten men’s skaters in Street and Vert will qualify to compete in the finals, with the overall champion taking home a Ford Ranger FX4 truck. The top 20 women with points from Vancouver’s Vans Slam City Jam competition and the Mountain Dew National Championships in New Jersey will also advance to the finals.” Why isn’t this the Pabst Blue Ribbon or the Heineken National championship? Drink up.

Friday’s Fanmail, The Return.
A few hours after we put the “Next to file for Chapter 11″ Sucks Survey online, we received an email from Laurent Bouclin: “I am concerned by your sucks survey . Some companies don’t diserve to go out of buisness even if they are about to. Consolidated ,think and Supernaut aint fucking sellout brands maybe they don’t sell much but they diserve mad props for keeping it real. That’s what I had to say”
Laurent: You are absolutely right. We deleted the poll and put up a new one. This time regarding that eXtreme retarded 54321 show. They are gettin another clueless announcer, some bimbo from American Idol. The only good thing bout that show is that Leeanne Tweety chick.

Skateboarder Gets a Key To The City?
Didn’t we used to have to kick and scream and whine and cry and bitch and yell for a place to skate? Not only did Springfield give Tony Hawk the key to the city for donating to the Willamalane skatepark, They gave him a frikken holiday! April 30th is Tony Hawk Day in Springfield, Oregon! When you Ripen, You start to rot. Skateboarding must be rotting by now. Does Homer have a key to Springfield?
