You’re Banned Buddy
ASPEN, Colo. — “A Basalt man cited three times for not wearing a helmet at the city skateboard park this year has been banned from the park for a year.” If it’s a wooden park, where’s the gasoline? “A municipal judge fined Brady Block $245 last week after his third violation of the helmet rule.” $245??!! Looks like we have a judge in Aspen that needs thrown into the deepend.

Firetrucks Don’t Grind
“City officials also made it illegal to grind skateboards…” “Grinding, in which a skateboard is moved along the edge of a surface, now is illegal under an ordinance passed by the City Council.” “Violating the grinding ban is a misdemeanor and punishable by up to 90 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $500.” We are Outlaws.

Love Park Shuvit

Philadelphia is not about to let the skateboarders back in.” “There’s never going to be any skateboarding in LOVE Park, period,” Goldsmith said yesterday. This is actually the perfect end to this fiasco. We have always been outlaws and we will continue to be with HEART. So when we travel to Philly… we bring bail money. No big deal. See you in jail.

Let’s XBOARD
“No need to touch the ground”. The folks at flowlab should call the goofs that make the XBOARD and head over to the nearest LBC Yo! bowling alley. In Long Beach they have red curbs with rad little white painted designs on them. When you grind those curbs… Oh Wait… Xboards and Flowflaps don’t grind. Nevermind.
