Virtual Reality Skateboard
Skatenerd and Concrete Disciples are reporting that the Brooklyn Banks have been destroyed. But Carl Sanger has fixed the problem. The Brooklyn Banks should soon be a module you can plug into your frikken virtual reality skateboard. This is what happens when cities build skateparks for you. They take away the real places to skate. Once again… DEFY!

Skatedaily pointed out the press release for the Rbk/DGK deal.

ASR is Still a Joke
Guess we shouldn’t even consider ASR a skateboarding event anymore. Maybe we never should have. But there was a time when it was fun to go in and get messed with all the bros. Since the whole thing is a joke anyway we thought we would help you laugh a little bit with this article and photo. Funny to see who is involved in the certainty of pre-booking. Looks like the Bay-View Rumble is the way to go from here on out. Now we just need three or four a year.

Vinyl Upholstered Skateboard
FAO Schwartz has one hell of a list of dumb shit to buy. Pretty sure the vinyl upholstered skateboard for $600 takes the cake. Do a search for “skateboard” and check out all the funny stuff you can get from there. You’ll be suprised to find a couple of big name companies in there too. In a toy store?

Are You Being Organized?
There is a power point presentation floating around the industry about the Dew Action Sports Tour. Skateboarding Sux wants to make it available to everyone. You see… The next time you go to one of these events, you need to understand that after the whole thing is said and done… there is a group of people celebrating because the event was a success. These people do not ride skateboards and they profit in sums of money that you need to be aware of. These people need skateboarders. Now… Go outside and skateboard across town and think about how much you need them. Fuck Em!
