The Lords of HollyDogWoodTown
As a Skateboarder… You will no doubt have to watch this movie. A while back, Stacy Peralta and Jason Lee took a step in directions that didn’t seem to fit their characters. We all seemed to benefit from their doing so. Skateboarding and filming got better because of it. The boys of Dogtown are doing the same thing… Documenting all of our lives as Skateboarders. They will probably do it very well if Stacy had anything to do with it.
It just really Sux that through all of this hoopla… MTV, Coca Cola and undeserving corporate entities are benefiting from it. Something just doesn’t look right… But we thank Stacy for being there like he always was in the past. His presence somehow makes us all feel like it’s okay.
