AOL has launched Lat34.com, a Web site centered around action sports such as Surfing, Skateboarding and Snowboarding, through a partnership with the production company Fusion Entertainment.

The action sports world is a passionate, under-served community that, until now, has had to rely on individual sport sites, product-driven print publications or scheduled television programming

…said Jim Bankoff, AOL’s executive vp of programming and products.
