Tony Hawk’s Big Spin
This new roller coaster, made by Gerstlauer in Germany, is patterned after the moves of professional skateboarder Tony Hawk. Instead of zipping along on tracks where each time you ride you move in the same pattern of ups, downs and arounds, this roller coaster has cars that spin as if you’re free-styling on a skateboard. None of the spins match each other so each time you ride, the experience is different.

We stopped dissing Tony Hawk out of respect. But we are more than capable of dissing Gerstlauer (The manufacturer), for making the ride only 45-50 feet tall. Just goes to show you that the marketing is directed toward children.

kind of a cool idea though.. i’ll never be able to ride a vert ramp and do crazy spins, so might as well strap myself into a ride that simulates it
wow who ever made this website must be a fatass mess who can’t get any friends or girls so they have to make a website discussing their hate for skateboarding because they’re jealous…why do you hate it so much?…i bet you’ll give me some bullshit excuse, or you’re either a cop or old hag who doesn’t like them because of ONE action by another…well don’t diss people who you don’t know, you can diss me if you want and i’ll just rip on you back, FAGGOT!
Hmm… Good analysis bgriff, this site is clearly dedicated to the hatred of skateboarding… Eitherway, what are you doing on the computer?! They’re having a sale on Nikes at the mall you know… If you were a real skater you would be out at the park right now practicing your grids on a rail that’s six inches off of the ground and talking to your friends about all the tricks you landed down that 3 stair first try.
